Emirates Airline has commenced daily service to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport from its Dubai hub. Officials for the carrier project that fresh fruits and vegetables, electrical equipment and machinery, as well as medical equipment and aircraft parts will be key exports on the Seattle-Dubai route.
Republic of Kazakhstan flag carrier Air Astana has ordered four 767-300ERs and three 787-8s from Boeing. The deal, which is valued at $1.3 billion, makes history as the largest single order for commercial aircraft in Kazakhstan’s history.
Chartersphere has moved into a larger office in southwest London, which will house its expanded team of four cargo brokers. The charter specialist also recently made headlines when it transported 2,400 cows from the U.S. to Voronezh, Russia, in a series of six Boeing 747-400F flights.
