FedEx has expanded its SenseAware shipment-monitoring service to customers in Canada, the UK, Australia and Singapore. Previously only available in the U.S., the enhanced service — SenseAware 2000 — also offers customers more accurate near real-time location information, improved cellular connectivity and longer battery life.
Oman Air has launched three-times-weekly charter service from its Muscat International Airport hub to Jaaluni airport in Al Wusta Governorate. H.E. Yahya bin Said Al Jabri, chairman of the board of the Special Economic Zone Authority of Duqm, praised the new route, saying he considers “the operation of this sector between Muscat and Jaaluni as adding to the series of successful undertaken initiatives that are aimed at promoting and developing the infrastructure in the region.”
CargoWise announced that Mexican freight forwarder Evolucion Logistics has implemented its ediEnterprise solution at its Monterrey headquarters. Evolucion Logistics will subsequently roll out the software at its other four offices in Mexico and its branch in Houston.
