Daedalus Aviation Group (DAG), the Netherlands-headquartered support service provider for military aviation customers worldwide, has appointed IJS Global as its global logistics partner. IJS will be responsible for providing a wide range of services from supporting Daedalus’s spare parts and component repair services through to assistance in the delivery of much larger projects and modification kits to customers.
DAG operates a maintenance, repair and overhaul business from five key locations in the Netherlands, the U.S., Chile, UAE, and South Africa.
“We’ve known IJS Global for some time through working with them on the ‘One Logistics’ project and through that close liaison we realized that they had a suite of administrative processes which could encompass all our requirements in respect of both Customs and ITAR [the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations]. That meant they were the ideal choice to become our worldwide logistics provider,” said Marc van Lokven, DAG’s director of marketing and business development.
IJS Global, whose headquarters are in the Netherlands, operates a global forwarding and logistics service based on providing personalized solutions for customers. It currently has owned offices and exclusive agent partnerships in 77 countries.
