Volga-Dnepr transports Russian aircraft’s 38-foot fuselage section

One of Volga-Dnepr Airlines’ AN-124-100 freighters transported a 38-foot-long fuselage section for the new Irkut MS-21 Russian passenger aircraft.

The aircraft section was transported between Irkutsk, Russia and Zhukovsky, Russia. The cylindrical fuselage section was 13 feet (4.2 meters) high, 15 feet (4.7 meters) wide and almost 38 feet (11.5 meters) long.

Loading the piece of fuselage required the development of special tackle.

The Irkut MS-21 belongs to the new generation of passenger aircraft and its development and production is being supported by the Russian government.
