China Postal Airlines and PEMCO World Air Services announced the completion and redelivery of China Postal’s latest PEMCO-converted Boeing freighter.
This 737-400F is the 10th PEMCO-converted airplane for China’s national express mail service. PEMCO’s 737-400F can transport nearly 6,000 ft³ of cargo weighing 24 tonnes.
PEMCO has converted airplanes for CPA owned by some of the largest aircraft leasing companies in the world such as Boeing Capital, International Lease Finance Corp and GECAS.
“We are proud to support China Postal and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to their successful and rapid growth into a premier express freight carrier. CPA and PEMCO, together with our partners at HAECO Group (STAECO & TAECO), have forged an effective partnership which we anticipate will endure for years to come,” PEMCO president Kevin Casey said.
