OAG Cargo, a sister company of Air Cargo World, announced Friday that it will provide flight schedules data for the Worldwide Information Network.
WIN is a cloud-based collaboration software platform for independent freight forwarders, giving WIN members immediate online access to more than 700,000 direct and connecting flights worldwide.
Under the new agreement between OAG Cargo and WIN, the flight schedules data will be available directly from the WIN platform beginning in the middle of 2013.
OAG Cargo announced the new partnership on at the 5th WCA Family Conference Week, which is in Bangkok until Sunday.
“This deal is a significant development for WIN members – typically small- to medium-size freight forwarders as they can now compete more easily with larger companies which have broad access to similar data,” Alv Hill, executive vice president of OAG Cargo, said at the conference.
