Virgin Atlantic Cargo has increased the number of U.S. cities it serves with daily flights with the relaunch of seasonal services to Chicago.
Flights, which will operate throughout the summer and until Oct. 26, leave London Heathrow at 1100 and arrive in Chicago at 1335. The return service departs from Chicago at 1800 and touches down in London at 0800 the next morning.
Virgin Atlantic’s transatlantic services include four flights a day to and from New York JFK, twice daily flights from both Newark and Los Angeles and daily operations between London and Boston, Miami, Washington and Orlando. In addition, the airline has two flights a week linking London and Las Vegas as well as 11 services a week from Manchester to Orlando.
Nick Jones, head of sales at Virgin Atlantic Cargo, said: “Chicago has been an important seasonal addition to our schedule for six years and provides a faster connection for customers doing business in Chicago and the Midwest of the U.S.”
