AV Cargo is a UK-based scheduled air cargo and charter company.
“The board is delighted that the company has achieved its ambitious targets, thus enabling additional aircraft to join its fleet,” Simon Clarke, CEO for AV Cargo Airlines Ltd., said. “The success story continues with yet another MD11F planned to enter service in November this year.”
The additional aircraft will enable more destinations to be added to the scheduled network as well as increase the number of rotations. This also allows for more opportunities in the charter market.
“We have worked hard to ensure a good service on the routes we offer into West Africa,” Clarke said. “This has given us a solid foundation to build our network further in preparation for the additional capacity.”
AV Cargo is now operating twice per week to Bamako, Mali, three times to Lagos, Nigeria, and has added Monrovia, Liberia to complement the services to Port Harcourt, Nigeria; Pointe Noire, Republic of the Congo; Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso and Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Over the next few weeks and months, additional destinations will be added.
