Melbourne airport training school expands
Oxford Aviation Academy has expanded
Officials at Moorabbin Airport in Melbourne have opened a 1,200-square-meter expansion to their pilot training facilities as well as a enhanced simulator training center.
The new building allows the airport to expand its program to an additional 200 students. It features six new classrooms, student briefing rooms, self-study areas and a library, and it is a complement to the existing Oxford Aviation Academy (OAA) flight training center, which provides services to Qantas, QantasLink, Jetstar, Jetstar Asia, Iraqi Airways, Gulf Aviation Academy and Vietnam Airlines.
"Our latest investments in new training center facilities here at Moorabbin now enable OAA to expand significantly into new growth markets, earn new customers and create further export opportunities and employment within the State of Victoria,” said OAA's Anthony Petteford.
