Simple As ABC From Milan To Moscow

As Belgian 747 freighter operator Cargo B ceases flying because of poor yields, AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has begun a scheduled 747 service linking Milan with Moscow.

The flight leaves Malpensa every Monday and Friday and provides up to 112 tonnes capacity via Moscow to Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

ABC operates 31 flights a week to and from Moscow’s Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports, linking Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Budapest and Zaragoza with Beijing, Shanghai, Narita and Hong Kong. The airline also operates scheduled all-cargo services to Krasnoyarsk in Russia.

Tatyana Arslanova, ABC’s Executive Senior Vice President, Strategy, Marketing and Sales said, “In Milan we have succeeded in gaining a strong, regular commitment from the local freight forwarding industry and we are therefore pleased to be able to support them with the launch of this new service.”

The Volger-Dnepr scheduled service subsidiary has appointed Kales GSA as its general sales agent in Italy and SEA to provide cargo handling at Aeroporti di Milano.
