ANS Signs TAM And bmi Cargo

bmi Cargo, part of British Midland Airways - now a takeover target by Lufthansa AG - has appointed Airline Network Services (ANS) as its off-line GSA in the United States.

ANS says it is offering promotional rates via bmi Cargo's Star Alliance partners from key U.S. gateways to Tel Aviv, Cairo, Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh via London Heathrow. The UK airline now operates twice-daily A330 services to Tel Aviv.

The New York-based agency also has also a deal to represent Brazil’s TAM Cargo covering most West, South Central and Mid-Atlantic States. TAM operates daily services with A330 and B767 aircraft out of Miami to Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and Manaus and from Orlando to Sao Paulo.
