Air freight wholesaler, AMI, has relocated to a new, larger facility at its Sydney hub. The new facility is nearly twice the size of its previous accommodations, which the company had occupied since 2001.
AMI Sydney is now based in Hale St. Botany, a few minutes’ drive from the airport cargo terminal. The new facility has more truck doors, a new 20-foot pallet hoist, which complements its existing pallet handling equipment, and lifting equipment for heavy and outsize cargo.
AMI has also extended its range of services to include 3PL and e-commerce support services, as well as ocean freight. AMI performs cargo terminal collections and deliveries from early morning to late daily, using its own vehicle fleet and sub-contracted vehicles at times of peak demand.
AMI Sydney acts as the international hub for much of AMI’s traffic to and from its domestic network of branches in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin, and Auckland and Christchurch in New Zealand
