Fiji Airways, Fiji’s national airline, has renewed its ULD management partnership with CHEP Aerospace Solutions for five more years. As part of the new contract, CHEP will introduce new lightweight containers from its 80,000-strong pool of assets.
In addition to increasing efficiency that comes from utilizing a common pool of containers, CHEP has helped Fiji Airways reduce its fuel costs and lower CO2 emissions. CHEP Aerospace Solutions president Ludwig Bertsch said the ULDs offer a “significant improvements in sustainability.”
