Aloha Airlines will shut down its interisland and transpacific passenger operations after Monday, March 31.
Aloha's air cargo and aviation services units will continue to operate as usual while the U.S. Bankruptcy Court seeks bids from potential buyers, the company announced.
At least one buyer, Seattle-based Saltchuk Resources, said it would pay $13 million for the cargo segment. Aloha Airlines carries mail for the U.S. Postal Service and other cargo for FedEx and UPS.
