Newark, N.J. -- Herman Liu, president and CEO of Yangtze River Express will deliver a keynote address at the upcoming second annual Trans-Pacific Air Cargo Conference produced by Air Cargo World magazine and The Journal of Commerce Conferences, June 5-6 in Los Angeles. The conference hosts are Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) and Aeroterm.
The conference will include presentations from airlines, logistics providers and shippers on trans-Pacific trade. The theme is "The Future Is Now: Trans-Pacific Cargo's New Opportunities."
Mr. Liu's company is partly owned by China's Hainan Airlines and by Taiwan-based China Airlines. It flies 737 freighters operating in the world's fastest-growing air freight market and is expanding into the international market this year with 747 freighters.
"Yangtze River Express is at the heart of the world's most dynamic air trade markets, and its growth and strategy will play an important part in the development of air trade patterns in coming years," said Paul Page, editor of Air Cargo World. "Shippers and operators in the trans-Pacific market will have a rare opportunity to hear from this airline that is critical to China's cargo future and to hear Mr. Liu describe Yangtze River's vision for the future within China and beyond."
