Air Cargo World erroneously reported on July 3 that Belgian freighter airline Cargo B had returned three aircraft and was in financial difficulty.
The airline, which started operations last October, has two 747-200 freighters that remain in its fleet, carrier officials said, and Cargo B plans on taking a third aircraft by this October. That plane could be a 747-200 or newer 747-400, depending on negotiations with the provider, the airline says.
One of its original two 747-200 freighters was recently turned over to a maintenance specialist for a required "D-check" but is due to return to full operations soon.
Cargo B officials say they are looking at several potential markets for the third freighter, including Mexico, Atlanta or the Middle East.
