Menlo Worldwide announced that Lonny E. Warner has been promoted to vice president of the company's high tech industry group. Robert W. Bassett has been named the company's new vice president of sales and marketing.
Warner previously served as vice president of sales and marketing. In his new position, he is responsible for the continuing growth and management of Menlo Worldwide as a leader in managing high tech company supply chains. He reports to Gary Kowalski, chief operating officer of Menlo Worldwide, a unit of CNF.
Bassett succeeds Warner and is responsible for all aspects of the company's sales and marketing activities. He reports to Menlo President Robert L. Bianco.
Warner has been with Menlo Worldwide and CNF for more than 15 years in both operations and sales capacities. He joined the organization in 1989 and held a series of increasingly responsible positions including vice president of high-tech sales, director of business development, and other logistics operations management and sales positions within the CNF companies. Warner is based in Coppell, Texas.
Bassett has been with the company for six years. Before joining Menlo Worldwide, he spent seven years with FedEx Supply Chain Services as an industry group vice president, and three years with Ryder Freight System as western regional vice president. Bassett is based in Menlo's headquarters in Redwood City, Calif.
