ABC Gives Russian Sports Cars A Ride

AirBridge Cargo recently transported Russia’s first sports cars from Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport to Frankfurt for presentation at the 63rd International Motor Show (IAA) in Germany.

Three new ‘Marussia’ motor cars were transported by ABC via Boeing 747 scheduled cargo flights to the event, which is held in Frankfurt every two years.

The Russian sports cars, manufactured in Moscow and also set to compete in the FIA GT World Championship in 2010, joined leading industry brands including BMW, Lexus, Citroen, Peugeot and others displaying their latest models to the thousands of visitors attending the show.

AirBridge Cargo, which operates 11 flights a week linking Frankfurt and Moscow, regularly transports top-of-the-range motor vehicles. The first Russian all-cargo airline to operate scheduled Boeing 747 freighter services on Europe-Russia-Asia routes, ABC is an arm of Volga-Depnr Group.
